As part of this project I met Uzi who is a middle school student majoring in Sports and Science. Uzi shared the lack of the students ability to be more involved and active in what happens in the school. Uzi and his friends wish they had more options of lectures and social activities to choose from and be part of. 

The purpose of the project was to create cooperation between the school and the students as a platform of communication and cooperation between students, teachers and the community.

 

The project is based on using recycling commercial materials from the city of Bat-Yam in the school activities and projects. The space within the school that was modified was by adding storage units that contain the recycling materials.

 

This storage units are made out of light materials. They are inspired by sliding doors and therefore can be be moved on tracks. This storage units are flexible and can be moved as needed within the school and outside of the school and allows the aacessabilty of the materials and allows the students to create all year round.
